W203 drivers seat strip down

Hello to you all. I have a Y 2001 C220 CDi with grey cloth seats. Due to the fact the last owner must have been a chubby boy I need to replace the foam inner of the seat back. Easy getting the parts but can anyone guide me in this job please?? With the cloth off the seat can I have it dry cleaned or will it ruin it??? Many thanks..

Far easier to look on eBay for a complete replacment seat IMHO: seen 2001 C-Class seats (cloth) sell for as little as £15 each. Search on 'Mercedes seats', and set up an auto search. Only a matter of time for the seat in the right colour turns up. Or use eBay to find a merc breaker.
