I'm going to install my pioneer double din unit tomorrow and want to route the ipod cable into the glovebox I searched but could not find instructions on how to remove glovebox. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Also are there any spare holes to put the wiring through or will I have to drill a hole?. All help will be appreciated
Theres no need to remove the glovebox. Remove the the undertray held by 2 T20 screws and remove the side dash cover it just pulls off. Inside the glovebox on the left theres pre cut out markings for were the OEM AUX or ipod lead would be routed from. Just punch out around the markings and theres your hole. Route the wire under the glovebox and around the side. By the way how did your puddle lights go ?
Got the ipod lead in the way you said saved me a lot of time, I've managed to do the puddle light on one side just gotta finish the other side when I get a chance know.
