As above. My aircon button doesn't work. I can push it but the light remains red. Does this mean a new unit or can button be repaired and would a facelit unit fit. It's a coupe 2002.

It could mean the a/c system needs a regas

You will need to take it to an Indie or main dealer as after the degas it needs to reset with star or it still wont work

When I had this I had a leak, it was the o ring on the front, a regas and new o ring cost me £60 from a mobile guy.

Didn't need resetting, light went out once it was full again.

Just had the car hooked up to friends Launch X431 and managed to reset the aircon and light has gone out. It light's up when pressed and goes out when pressed again but aircon needs topping up as not that cold. Got a mate who will do it cheap.
