W203 Rear Lamps (W220 Face Lift Style...)

I am after a set of rear lenses similar to the face lift W220 rear lenses for my current W203 Saloon (I have bought a replacement W203 2004 build car) until the W221 arrives to play with in the mean time...

The lights look like these (non LED)

The product is an after market accessory and is quite steep @ £195 for the set (more expensive than OEM standard lenses ) but I was wondering if anyone knew of other sources/suppliers that can provide a similar product at a cheaper price BUT of good quality similar to the OEM standard lenses?

Im reading it like this .... cheaper than oem but better. I presume this secret factory intends to keep its product well hidden from DC and will no doubt only reveal itself to eBay bidders.

I am doing some research into this and the "idea" of posting on the Forum was to see if anyone was aware of any alternative suppliers in the UK so that I could see which ones are the best to buy. I know for a fact that they are much cheaper out in the US and some are manufactured in Taiwan and quality varies on the supplier and so does the pricing!!!

LED lenses are a waste of time and from my research do not function good at all and alot of US W203 owners have experienced probelms and teh LED lights are even priced cheaper than the standard lights as shown on the ebay link.

It "pays off" to shop around and do the "research" and is "quite possible" to find a good quality set of after market rear lenses priced reasonably or equivilent to the OEM price!!!

the companies that spring to mind are mercedes performance (but not recommended!), gericia, kms, ECP....
