Can anyone help re: spare wheel, please?
I know a few have done the sport brake upgrade & also changed spare for full size...
I have temporarily a full sized 17" steel spare in my boot, but would like to tuck it away.
Is there a replacement wheelwell that will fit a full size oem alloy wheel?
If not, which wheel well do I need to fit a 17" spacesaver?

Not any help but have been living with this on my Seat Toledo...
Have stoptech brakes under 18's and a 16" full size spare.... Have only had one flat, but quite a pain swapping rear to front and sticking spare on rear.

Bring up this thread again as I now also need to figure out what spare to fit. I have a 16" full size steel wheel/normal tyre. Can anyone tell me if a 17" steel wheel fits over brake?

Yes, 17" will fit

Yes, you will need a 17" spare, I went for the 17" space saver in the end.

I am guessing with spacesaver, I will also need to source the plastic thingies that hold tools.
