Hi , I'm just wondering if anybody has changed a front track rod control arm on a w203 c class coupe... if so , is it easy enough? Asking because if I can do it myself then I will but I don't want to end up taking it apart and then not being able to move it because I've messed it up haha...
Thanks ,james

not that hard if you have good tools and time

It is very straight forward. You will need a wheel alignment after if you don't measure it exactly.

Just a though. Do you mean the track rod end? If not then ignore my wheel alignment advice.

i think this work can be easily done by instead moving to a garage.........which costs you loss of dollars...you can simply do it with an wheel alignment!!

What Black C55 says. Its pretty straightforward, though the mounting holes in the arms are oval slots rather than round holes, so that the wheel geometry can be adjusted. This is why you need alignment after the job is complete.
