Car
C220
hi,

I had a c220 cdi saloon as a company car for a while and loved it!!, Now looking to replace my own Passat estate with a c220 cdi estate.

I am looking for something around £10-11k, around a 10-11plate, they all seem to be around 90-100k on the clock.

Is it wise to get a car with kind of mileage and if so is there anything I should look out for, I am intending to keep the car for 5-6 years so not bothered about the high mileage from a resale point of view.

any help, comments will be appreciated

2 years ago I bought an 08 plate S204 C220 with 50+k on the clock, 1 owner, full MBSH from supplying dealer (where I bought it), leather, Comand, all sorts of toys - and (touch wood) it's been faultless, now 71k miles and due it's second service since I bought it. Purchase price £14.5k with 12 months MB tier 1 warranty, having just had it's B service. If you're looking at MB main dealer, check service history (so 2 and 4 year items are done, like brake fluid and air/fuel filters) and that, if it's less than 3 years old, that Comand has latest update installed (free for first 3 years, then expensive!).

Only thing I've spent money on is a set of winter wheels and tyres - which I bought on eBay for a silly price.
