I have only had my car for 1 week but I've noticed that the parking sensors do not start to beep until your nearly on top of an object. Does anyone one know if the range can be adjusted so they start to beep sooner, I cant find anything on the on board computer.. Cheers in advance for any help

Not to my knowledge. They beep only when you're about to make an expensive mistake. The rest of the time you just watch the lamps illuminate to tell where you are.

Do the lamps on the front illuminate when the car is in reverse? or do you just rely on the reverse camera. I only ask because on my car when I drive forward, the lamps go yellow then red the closer I get to an object, they don't do this in in reverse, is this correct.

They will if you swing the front close to an obstacle when reversing.

The front display works the same whether you're in D or R

The rear leds are in a similar block to the front one but mounted in the roof lining roughly in line with the rear back rests

My front sensors work when in reverse.

Also the trigger of any sensor is shown on the graphic in the reverse camera display.

You can change the settings with Xentry Diagnostic Computer from inside of the Parktronic Control unit.
You can select the sound warning when the first level detected.
You can choose the item detection dimentions from the same menu on xentry.

From inside of the vehicle , impossible.

Thanks for the advice , I'm learning new things all the time , I always wondered why those LED's lit up in the rear roof lining ,Only ever noticed them in the dark when turning the ignition key
