w208 air con compressor making a noise

CLK glides and is as smooth as cars half it's age and very quite until I put the air con on, the compressor spoils that quite drive with a squeaking noise, is it dying and needs replacing or something much cheaper.

Btw this is a blinding site.

I had noisy aircon on my S class and the repair involved replacing the fan and motor mounted near the radiator £600 fix try a squirt of the old WD first.

Ouch amazing what they get away with. I've looked on eBay and can pick a second cheap but never tried it before and not sure if anyone on here has. bloody noise such a shame any other of my vans or jeep it would not bother me but it do t sit right with this.
