W208 centre console - cable entry point?

I want to find a convenient entry point for a cable so I can wire my active brodit holder it into the back of the cigarette lighter. Damm Mercs are so well bolted together!!! I can get the ashtray and trinket tray out easy enough but can't see any unobtrusive way of getting the cable in

when i wired in my DVD player to the COMAND in my W208 I took off the panel under the dash by the glovebox. then i could just about route a wire through from there into the back of it all where the radio goes/cigar lighter etc.
