W208 CLK Blower Intermittent

Hi

I have a W208 CLK230K Cabriolet, with an intermittent aircon blower.

Having scoured this forum, I gained the knowledge to replace the blower motor brushes. Sadly new brushes did not alter the problem.

I am I right in thinking it may be a loose wire or poor contact somewhere instead of the heater resistor? I think the resistor must be ok because when the blower does run, I can control its speed correctly via the switch.

Any ideas.....and how do I remove the fascia panel containing the heater controls and switches to fault find there?

Hi all

Is my thinking that the resistor is probably ok correct? When I was our driving yesterday the aircon would come and go of its own accord.

Its normally the contacts at the motor..

So, perhaps checking and tightening the elec fittings where they plug onto the blower motor might do the trick?
