W208 CLK Cab - corrosion result !!!

I had just decided to get my 2 arches done (£400+vat), when I read on here that Merc have a warranty.

Took it in yesterday morning and today got a phonecall to say it's all been approved. Booked in for 3 weeks time (with a courtesy car !!!)

To say I'm amazed is an understatement.

Result for you, although a 2001 car should not be rusting at all.

Agreed, but any car is prone to corrosion - especially MB from everything I read on here and that car is 7 years old now, an age which I would expect to start to see a little bit here and there. Depends where you live too surely - like if you live more coastal, then your car rusts sooner.
