Hey guys,

Having problems with the cruise engaging at above 50mph

It works perfectly well between 30 & 50ish but anything above I.E. A-road and motorway cruising speeds it doesn't work which is really frustrating.

NOTE: The speed limiter works fine just not the cruise

Any help please.

Have you changed the tyre sizes from those originally supplied with the car?
Are the tyres correctly inflated, are they evenly worn?

If the microbrain thinks the four wheels are not rotating at the same speed, which could be caused buy any of the above reasons, it will either release or not engage the cruise control since it interprets the difference in speed as loss of traction.

Ahhhh. It could be that. My rear tyres do need changing. So I'll get that done and try it again.

Put it on star and find out which wheel sensor is faulty.
