Well said. I have resorted to putting a run of weld on the inside of the bearing cage to shrink it (the weld contracts when it cools thereby shrinking the bearing diameter), to get it out before now.

When re fitting I have put the bearing in the freezer and the rest in the oven and they just drop in, making sure that the magnetic ring is on the right side
