w208 vents and steering wheel buttons?

Managed to source some vents just a case of getting round to fitting them now, and finding those buttons.

Glad to know im not the only one with that problem.

I called MB and they quoted me £145 + VAT for the buttons, just the buttons!!

I have the same issue, once I heard the price I decided to live with it until I find some online.

Little update ... Managed to pick up a pair to buttons for a very good price. There not in perfect condition but better than how mine are now! Cleaning them as I type!

Anyone know the correct procedure for removing the airbag to replace these buttons? I'm guessing I need to disconnect the battery (to avoid airbag deployment) but will this reset the windows? if so anything else that needs doing?
