I will check on the EPC to find out which model it's from, but it's unlikely to fit a w208 because the exit pipes are at a funny angle.

They may have some kerbing or damage marks, which we will touch in before posting

It is highly likely that the EPC will list that muffler as fitting one or two W209 models. There is a good chance that any exhaust for the W209 will also fit the W203 models BUT the EPC will deny knowledge of this

have looked at these myself a few times and can't seem to get a definitive answer as to whether they are a direct replacement or you need the amg accessories rear bumper as well. I reckon the only way is buy it and try it.

As for the bumper, I've been told that it doesn't need the AMG rear bumper but that the rear bumper may need to be trimmed. If you look under the bumper you will see there is a slight cut out, this is the bit that needs to be enlarged, although I'm told that the extra trimming won't really be visible from the rear, it just creates a bit of extra space for the exhaust and stops the bumper melting!

B6 603 0822 suits either the 240 or 320 clk same as the c class so would imagine its the same backbox just probably slightly different tailpipes to suit the differences in bodywork.

If your going to bid let me know and I'll leave it otherwise if it stays cheap I might gamble it as still not convinced it would go straight on, can't see why amg would make a replacement rear bumper that looks very similar to the original other than for use with twin tailpipes. BTW have you seen the carraige

Would not touch it with a bargepole seeing that they stipulate kerb damage will be touched in, and won't let you come and get it I reckon they have reversed it over a raised bed or wall....

Just in case you really haven't noticed - the seller sells lots of alloy wheels, mainly for Mercedes-Benz, hence the remark about 'kerb damage'! It might also explain the slightly steep postage costs (he probably left the default amount on by mistake - in the same way he has forgotten to remove the kerb comment!)

If anyone was genuinely interested, I am sure this apparant 'typo' could be easily checked/discounted with a quick message to the seller.

After all, the exhaust is brand new and boxed.

No - not yet! Don't ask me why but I had virtually forgotton about it to be honest!
Not even too sure if I will now? Might appear on ebay sometime if I don't...

No, Will got it before you I think, shortly after I got mine. It's a genuine 6 cylinder C36 box, not a 4 cylinder accessory.

As Graham says - it is a Genuine C36 AMG Rear Silencer (H WA 202 490 04 15 £616.80 inc VAT! ) which I bought off ebay last year.

I was going to (and still might ) have it fitted onto the C230K, but it's just been sitting doing nothing for a while...
