Hi, i've just bought a W210 320E which has climate control fitted and everything appears to be working apart from it pumping out icy cold air. I've tried switching the CC on and off to hear if the pump is clicking in and out, raise or drop in engine rev, and i can't hear a thing (had a mate listen to the engine while the CC was switched).
From my limited experience i would imagine this then leads to a pump failure or could it be that because there may be no refrigerant in the system that the clutch doesn't engage?
Any logical tests i can carry out first before i start handing over some hard earned?
Finally with regards to the parktronic which is fitted front and rear, what would be the first method of problem solving?
