W210 Pay load

Hi

I have a W210 (02 avant estate, E220). I bought last year with a full years MOT. So far, so good..

Any way, I've noticed that it seems to sit low and I also read up on the last years MOT and it had an advisory about pay load (which the dealer didn't pass on!)

Is this an expensive thing to fix?

I suspect it means the SLS (self levelling suspension) is in need of repair. Go back to the dealer as it could be an expensive fix and was a fault they should have fixed before sale and were aware of.
