Hi,
I have a 2003 E320cdi estate, I have a number of strange problems with the car.
1st problem- My rear windscreen wiper washer jet button on the centre console is not working, when you press the button, ‘down to operate' nothing happens, but using the same button pressed 'up' operates the rear windscreen wiper as normal
Could this be a a Fuse issue?
2nd problem -Another issue I have is with my centre console 6 disk cd changer. When you press the button to open up the flap I can hear the motors running for the CD changer, when you press any of buttons to load CD’s, none of the slots are accepting the CD. Usually, at this point the flap then automatically goes down to its normal position.
The issue I have is, apart from my CD changer not working, the automatic flap sometimes does not go down by itself; the only way to drop the flap is to press the rear wiper button ( as mentioned in point 1 )
I have been to MB Stevenage and they said it could be a problem with the CD Flap Mechanism and it needs replacing at a cost of £300+vat. That’s a lot of money !!!
3rd issue. My driver’s side wing mirror mechanism to tilt/move side to side is not working, it used to work but recently it just stopped working altogether.
Any help with these problems will be much appreciated
