B200 headline bulb holder plate has come out

Hi i was trying to replace my headlight bulb but instead of taking out the bulb i have pulled out the whole plate. Any ideas as to how i can fix this please ie get the plate back in? I took it to halfords but they couldnt get the plate back in
Ive attached a picture of what i am calling the "plate"
