W211 E55 AMG front brake discs and pads

Thread resurrection but I've just been quoted £706 + VAT for discs & pads & senders all round. 15% discount offered but that's one hell of an increase from last year where SPX's post suggests a list of £433. I am stunned.

I would try another dealer as I suspect they've quoted you wrong. £706 plus vat is £847.20?

When I was looking last year I think the best I got quoted was around £350 for the discs and pads (sensors are cheap enough)

Using the details of one of my E55s they quote £676.70 for new discs and pads *fitted* so £847.20 for parts alone doesn't sound right.

I take it you have standard AMG brakes with the 360mm discs and not some upgraded/390mm PP items or something (unsure if they fitted those to the 211?)

MB- Newcastle seem to discount a lot of parts and even have a shop on eBay.
May be worth an inquiry with them too.

To me £338 seems expensive for aftermarket parts, I think with some discount you should be able to get genuine parts for not a lot more

i have just bought a pair of rear discs for an e55k from Mercedes of Newcastle,they were £146 delivered, not bought the pads yet.
