Looks in good shape - congrats!

I notice some interesting stains on the passenger foot well carpet as it meets the door - hopefully this car hasn't been at a dogging venue!

I think that is the drivers seat so would be the transmission tunnel, it looks like the glue they use as i have seen similar on mine when I removed mine. Although I like your explanation better

Or that someone actual used the most pointless cup holder ever designed!

I noticed that too. Hope that wasn't the result of a fast run!

Just loving the car and the huge differences between my old W210 and the W211. Not just performance related either.

nice looking car, well done!

Fantastic cars...hope you really enjoy....the problem is what the hell do you move onto next?? don't worry we also face this dilemma:eek: but maybe that's another discussion..lol

"What to change to next" has been mentioned a few times on here I've seen by various people with these - and I know I've mentioned it twice on here.

For the money they cost to buy versus the performance and comfort - a car with this all round ability is going to be tough to even get something similar.

My plan at the moment is to hang on to mine until I am forced to change it. Then I'll look at what is around then I guess.

The major plus point is they have hit the slowest part of the depreciation curve now and so if you aren't spanking money on depreciation, slightly higher repair bills now and again aren't so bad - and to keep these amazing cars running is well worth it.

Mine is on 70k now and runs as well as it did when I bought it in the early 50s two years ago - so I can see it carrying on for a while yet.
