w211 Folding Door Mirror Wiring Diagram

hi there all

Im needing the wiring diagram for the mirrors.

Both have codes flagged up. something like short circuit in mirror...
one has stopped working and the other goes crazy on start up.

reading up its caused by the wires breaking when the mirrors are folded in.

i dnt know how to find out what wire would be broken? therefore im thinking of replacing all of them...

what im confused about is that here it talks about black wires being broken but i can only see red wires... can anyone explain about this???

The red wires you see are the Maplin superflexible replacement stuff. Have a look inside your mirror, you'll soon find the black wires.
