I have a 2009 e320 cdi sport and i need help with my LED brake lights !!

My OSR led brake light is dimmer than my NSR lamp?!? I have no error messages whatsoever. Today I opened the lamp to investigate and cannot see anything obvious wrong with them.

Is this a common problem? Do I need a new lamp or is there a simple fix?

You can just replace the LED panel in the tail light housing or replace the whole tail light housing with a second hand one from eBay.

Any idea where to get the led panel apart from the dealer?

Do you know where I can get the led panel apart from the dealer?

You could swap the two rear led plates just to make sure where the fault is

I bought one for my estate, it cost £48 from the dealer

Good idea, I'll give it a go sometime this week and let you know the outcome

Hopefully the left and right are interchangeable !

Thanks

I thought the post-facelift 211 reverted from LEDs to HiP (high-pressure incandescent) bulbs? The estate certainly did, although the centre high-level light is LED.

I don't think they are interchangeable but you should be able to connect them just to test

they look like this, LED brake light and standard bulbs for tails

The brake light bulb is led, the rest of the lamp are bulbs fixed to a board.
