W211 side brake led cluster

The LEDs on my drivers rear have failed and I need a cluster, just wondering if anyone has one on here before I apprach dealers on Monday.
Not impressed with these LEDs on the rear , the trunk ones are also prone to failure.

You can purchase the led brake light board from the dealer IIRC £40, 20 minute job.

Thanks guys I think the board will be easiest solution
A lot of hassle and knowledge needed to repair

Overall poor design if the whole taillamp has to be removed just to change a bulb

Dealer is quoting 50 plus vat!
Can anyone clarify does the attached board (with 2 wires) come off and dies the new board come with this ?

Different to mine as it's a cls, pretty much the same dismantling proceedure, mine just had to small plugs which you Un plug ( after removing the torx screws holding the board in place ) then just fit the new board plug in, replace torx screws... reassemble the light fitting and good to go, however I did check it was all working before putting the rear lamp back in situ!

Does anyone on here have access to merc database to check a part no for me

This is the number on the actual power board where the two wires cone out from
This is held in with 2 screws into the plastic, I removed the 2 screws but it doesn't come out. I'm assuming this is part of the led board That you can remove with the 3 torx screws

If I quote the above number will that get me the led board I'm assuming it will

When I quoted that part number price was 26 plus
When I explain what part I need I get quoted 50 plus!!
Part isn't in.stock either so might have to pay first dint want to be lumbered with part I.don't need
