Reading the battery thread reminded me of this
1. Turn key to position 1
2. Put display on temperature setting. (if it does not work try MPH)
3. Press trip reset button on left side of cowl 3 times (quickly)
4. You will see the voltage reading
5. Press up arrow. You will see some codes. Turn key to position 2 and after a few moments at the bottom of the display you will see the oil quantity in the sump expressed in litres.
