W219 glove compartment light

Was changing to led's stuck said Led in, it lit up, so all was well...

Just noticed it has stopped working, I've fiddled about with it, even tried the original bulb. But it's gone dead?

Any ideas anyone?

Does it have a different fuse to the rest of the interior bulbs?

Possibly, can't recall. Is the LED connected right way? They are polarity sensitive.

Yeh, was all fine. I've tried a few others + the original. Not a sausage

Doesn't sound daft.

No I didn't check the engine compartment one.

Read online the interior dept stuff is next to the drivers door

I remember the same thing happened to me a while back
I think it was my number plate light that done the same thing
all it was on mine was the metal prongs were not tight enough
so I just pushed them back together then the bulb worked but
maybe that's not your problem

Are you checking at night, with lights on etc. as it possibly wont work unless the exterior lights are on or when the auto light sensor says its dark.

Still kaput. Fuses all good. Tried every bulb I have.

New light unit time?
