So it was working fine last week. Then it started to make a high-pitched whistling noise when the fan was on. I assumed this was the fan, but then noticed it doesn't make the noise when the ignition isn't started (i.e. the air-con compressor etc. isn't running - just the fan).
It was a high-pitched whistling sort of noise, and it's now stopped making it - and any cooling has gone. It would appear that the temperature control still works as selecting something temp-wise that involves heating seems to work up to and including full-tilt which bakes you.
Anyone got any suggestions? If I didn't know better I'd say the whistling could have been something being pushed through pipes?
Cheers,
Dan.
