Weird sound? after ICE? Possibly alternator?

After i got my ICE installed, i hear a weird sound, kind of sounds like a supercharger compressor or something? its a really annoying whine.. can it possibly be the alternator?

Yes it could be.
Common cause is bad routing of the main feed into the set.
Can be cured by
Rerouting the cable away from any high current carriers
Putting a supressor on the alternator (unlikely to be this)
Putting a quality qhoke in line, as near to the head unit as possible.

thanks guys it was an alternator whine, bought a noise suppressor for the amp, fixed it
