What’s your child’s car of choice?

Years ago, they're grown up now, they got more than a little upset when a I chucked in Mercedes for a Saab...it was ok 3 years later, back to Mercedes.

Only one has a car...200bhp Astra in white, 3 months old.

You have to love them don't you! She adamantly refuses to admit when she is cold in the car in case the roof is put back up!

J

If you’re in the front it’s alright, but the only source of heat in the rear is from the foot wells! They wanted the windows down as well, but I drew the line there!!

My girls (7 and 10) both used to love riding in the back of my old c230k the keep fit windows were a source of wonderment in the digital age

Their cars of choice would be anything with council windows or failing that a "Cherry red Ferfarti" whatever that is :)

This morning I asked him which cars he thinks we should have he was choosing an everyday car for Mom and another for Dad.

For Dad, he said Lamborghini Huracan, and for Mom a Ferrari LaFerrari. Mom objected, so she was reassigned Bugatti Chiron. I should have objected too, I'm in the mood for McLaren P1.

I’ve driven the Hurican on a track...it’s nice! LaFerrari is a good choice...

My youngest used to be like that, then we went to Dubai and Florida, and before I knew it, he was a complete petrol head!!!

I took one of the grandkids (6) into work a couple of weeks ago.

He got in the back and then belted out, "oh no, there is no TV in here".

Guess the cars just look the same to him on the outside.

My 4 year-old son wants me to get a monster truck or a top-fuel dragster.

The former is probably a bit more practical

My 15 year old daughter genuinely believes she is getting a range rover sport for her 17th birthday. She has been told many times that this will not be happening.

I never forget my mate. He thought he was getting an XR3. On his birthday we were all waiting with baited breath at the front of his house and his dad drove up in a 1.3 brown escort. My mates face was a picture!

We later discovered it was a complete shed. He had to have the clutch replaced and the garage advised there were only three out of twelve bolts holding the gearbox together along with a host of other dodgy issues.

Brown Ford Escort.. That must have been quite a sight when expecting a shiny xr3! :)

When I was around 6 or 7 years old I can remember thinking Renault Fuegos and Matra Ranchos were both super cool :)

This child ain't mine but belongs my nephew who is a clever engineer and made the cart from a wheelie bin. Not bad driving for a 9month old. And free road tax cos it's electric.
