What car did you pass your driving test in?

I had a 110 many, many years ago and that freewheel was a bit of a frightener
A friend had a 110 a l-o-o-o-o-ng time ago. It was a beautiful car with from what I remember a strange valve arrangement, overhead inlet and side exhaust.

Hi A.J - This one had overdrive on it - surprisingly (and enjoyable ;)) pickup when kickdown was used for overtaking! Immensely powerful brakes - far better than many other cars from the period. During the driving test, when I did an emergency stop, the car virtually stopped dead, the examiners clipboard (and very nearly his nose) hit the windscreen! Needless to say, he didn't ask for another one.........

So called 'F-head' arrangement. As used in the Willys Jeep also. I think, Rolls-Royce used it too - in a straight six. An interim between side-valve and full OHV.

I passed in a 2.8i Toyota Supra
Baller 😎
