What is this noise?

Have been in the market for a CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake for some time, have just found this nice looking car up for auction on Car and Classics, having listened to a few M157's idling and at start up, this car to me seems to be very rattley to me?

Or is that just me misunderstanding normal M157 noise?

They are a little rattley. I have had mine from 3000 miles and it has always been like that. It does get quieter when warm. If in doubt, get a man to check it out....

Sounds lovely mate - but past my budget unfortunately.

I am looking 16k-19k ish for my my next purchase, but your car sounds a bloody awesome car mate, hope you get a quick sale and a good buyer.
