What size speakers REAR W208 CLK ?

Anyone updated speakers in a w208 CLK -----What size aftermarket speakers are best suited to the rear parcel shelf area of a w208 ?
Can 6 x 9's be used, if so, and what is the best way of accomodating them ?

No idea what size the origionals are - however i am looking at replacing them with equivelents - would not use 6 x 9's as would involve cutting the rear shelf. The speakers themselves are accessed / released from the underside in the boot compartment via a series of clips then drawn up through the passenger compartment. I may have a look at the weekend as i am also going to measure up for sounddeadening the entire boot area - noisy exhaust
This is probably of no help at all to you but will post info once I look at it and take it apart myself.

They are a 6.5" woofer fitted into a plastic mount that clips into the rear shelf. It would probably be possible to fit something like a 8" woofer instead.
