hello every one, anyone help with this. nov 13 had B service done by main dealer, looking through the cars computer waiting for missus to do the weekly shop and came across next service spec." D service". what is it and whats involved ? sounds expensive to me

Dealer's "A/B" service lettering is not the same as the car's "A-H" lettering system. See your manual: the letter indicates the amount of time it thinks it'll take to do the work it thinks is needed.

See here:

Mercedes-Benz ESS

The link I gave you will tell you what the car thinks is involved if you put in your car type, mileage and registration date.

That information is also stored in the car, and is what the dealer will use to work out what jobs are needed and how to price them.

It's not possible to tell how much it'd cost, as the letter denotes time and some items cost more than others.
