What's Your Favorite Circuit?

Monaco!! And I wanna go there on GP day!! :D

Yer now that's one cool place, but you know the rules you can only name it if you have driven it.

Quincy w140 has my vote for the highest bragging rights 150 laps of the ring and he wrote about Sabina like he knew her, respect

Only ever been round one circuit - the 'Ring - so it has to be my favourite by default!

It was OK I suppose. :bannana:
How can it be ok, it's the ring your talking about, that's like saying you thing the F1 maclaren is a nice car.

I am worried about you, get youreslf on a track day and watch euro sport before you come down with somethink

Thruxton, mainly because I went to a BMW "how wonderful our cars are" track day and had lots of cars to play with. M5 was fun.

Again, by default, the only one I've ever driven on, Oulton Park.

Had a full day there driving Beemers, Formula First, Caterhams, go-carts and the like. 9 years ago according to the date on the photographs.

Olivers Mount in Scarborough, I drove round on the Monday after the Gold Cup. Much coolness.

If that doesn't count then probably Knockhill. I enjoyed Combe lots though :D

If you drove it, it counts in my book

Paul Ricard - been with a few manufacturers. Plenty of variety as the track layout can be changed (and wetted too), but loads of room to get wild if desired.

The Ring, Silverstone, Mallory Park, Three Sisiters, Prestwold.

Everything from an F1 car to Astons & Gallardos.

On Saturday it's Silverstone with my SLK.

Well I'm surprised nobody as mentioned it because the best circuit in England IMHO is Donnington and I've driven most of them. However the best circuit in the UK by a mile is Knockhill in Scotland as it comes with its own climate it can be raining on one part of the circuit and bright sunshine on the other and it is so narrow that overtaking sorts out the men from the boys and is not for the faint hearted.

Yes the Ring is good and I've lost count of the number of laps I've done of it but its not a "real" circuit in the true sense of the word but it is a fantastic experience and probably only one of a few circuits where you can max out your car.

Spa would probably have to be my second favourite, it's another one where people don't realise the changes in elevation until you've driven it.

Brands Hatch.
Back in the day (early 1970's) when I had my Elan, there were days when you just come off the main road and drive straight onto the circuit. Nobody stopped you and quite often during the week, hardly anyone was there.
I only did one lap, but it was great.
I went back several months later to have another bash, but it was all fenced off.

I have been driven round Knockhill in a Strathcarron, but will be driving it for the first time on the 29th, I am somewhat apprehensive I have to say:o
