I have today been advised while having MOT that I have a very slight amount of play in a front wheel bearing.
Can I adjust the bearing by tightening the lock nut and adding grease or is this a new wheel bearing.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi just remove bearing dust cap and under there is a sort of nut but not like your typical six sided nut but a very nice engineered clamping nut. Slacken Allen bolt and then turn clamp with fingers or long nose pliers until play has gone. Don't over tighten and you shouldn't need any grease as there should be green grease what mb use in there.
