Wheel bearing adjustment CLK 350 2006

I have today been advised while having MOT that I have a very slight amount of play in a front wheel bearing.
Can I adjust the bearing by tightening the locknut and adding grease or is it a new whee bearing.
An help would be appreciated

Easily adjusted... undo the lock nut, adjust as normal, do up lock nut...
