Following this thread I hope no one minds me starting this new thread in the Events section.

Not sure how to explain this, maybe a contact number will work better but for now here we go.

We are all aware of my industry and i am well aware of the tolerance this forum has allowed me, now it's payback time.

I am about to expose my new operation in Milton Keynes which is in the order of three million pounds and growing by the week!

It has the only fully automatic IS9000 approved wheel refurbishment, one million pound machine, billet cutting to suit desires and the usual re-shaping, welding of cracked wheels.

The workshop uses the only laser driven tyre changers ( human only holds a dead man's lever ) this if the first of it's kind in the EU.

I think you get the gist for what you might expect, so to the chase.

I would like to offer the club and invitation to our open day 3rd of June and than another dedicated club day that suits the clubs schedule.

Bullet points.

1: Open day, 3rd June
A: This should be a wow day, loads of tyre kicking and then some... My race cars BDC, TA, TS, MaZda on track will attend as will our in house Xbo's x2, our Radical, works Megan, and loads of other high enders, the list goes on and on.

2: Dedicated MB meet.
A: Held at MK on a Sunday and a totally free meet involving free geometry calibration for a number of cars and a health check for others time permitting, £5 a ticket with all proceeds to charity... Hospice works for me since cancer murdered my wife last year.

I would hope this reads attractive to you and then members.

3: Fools we are not ( Admin and me ) Stripping things naked, we all know i gain from my presence in the forum and despite my offer i / we have to respect paying traders so i will do what i have to do but not retract my offer either way.

4: In summary it will be a great day, the Maxis's girls will be there for some titerlation, press, mags and on and on.....

Thanks for the transportation, i was a little bit blond about were to post the invitation.

To clarify wim Chesham is operational as usual, the MK thing is a EU punishing new level, so hopefully i can set another well deserved standard for you the customer.

If we are all ok with it i would just like to promote the open day as a thank you to members who have supported wim online and in person over the years.

Everything is on us. As said there will be much motor porn visible and some totty, so don't bring the wife?

I will set wheel/ tyre/ geo deals for members on the day but in truth i'm not really interested in that..... It would be more fun to look at the totty, take a few members out in the Xbow's or Driftie's and just have fun.

Many high end cars to kick and to pant's lol.... It's a win, win day peeps and not it's all up to you.

Hey Tony, congrats on the expansion in MK. Knowing you and the team I know this will be a 1st class operation. I am not sure of if I can make the 3rd, but will certainly try, be nice to see you again.

Other than the wheels-inmotion forum the MB forum is the first to know about this new venture and apart from the meet i feel/ hope the new centre will really be of value to members here.... So what is it all about you might think?

Bullet points work best....

1: Geometry calibration/ solutions obviously
2: ECU plug-in to reset steering angle censor, vital for ABS, line deviation, yaw control, parking radar and so on.
3: 99.9% toutchless < poor spelling, sorry ) tyre fitting machines ( 1st in the EU )
4: Automated wheel refurbishment machine costing a cool million, able to turn around 300 wheels a day, 1st in the world.
5: 20 courtesy cars avalible..... Yes 20?
6: Diamond cutting, re-shaping, fracture welding avalible
7: Billet custom wheels made if you like?

To explain. On the open day there will not be any geometry calibrations because the day is open to all manor of cars.

After the open day the MB forum will be offered it's own meet at MK and from this free geometry calibration will happen with cars chosen by raffle.

The open day is a chance for us to display what we are all about, for you to see some top end cars, road and race and some totty but most importantly a place to meet other club members
