Ok thanks. I didn't realise what a kompressor was until now lol. If I knew it was supercharged I would not have bought it. Too late now.

Wayne Gates - they are on this forum as well
I will be doing a lot of motorway miles. Where can I buy decent bonnet bra?
There is no such thing as a "decent" bonnet bra - they are an aberation!:fail
1) Don't follow so close
2) If your bonnet gets stone chipped, touch it in. My 10 year old 90k CLK had 2 stone chips - why ruin a good looking car with such a dreadful addition?
I will keep that in mind, ive been driving my civic on motorway for 4 years, done 70k and i dont have that many stone chips. these people with so much stone chips must be up the others backside...
Also I don't think my hand brake works because I don't see no red P appear when I pull the lever and drive. If I leave the gear stick in P is that sufficient?
do i need to press foot brake when i pull the handle?
auto is a bit new to me.
also when i change from N to D do i need to hold footbrake as well or can i just push it and vice versa?

I was going to post I would buy the silver one, looks a straight motor, seems you have picked it already,I think it wise to pick the auto, you never know with a older manual if the clutch is going to fail,it looks a tidy motor, buy it and enjoy it.
I did try to warn you mate about buying s cheap Mercedes that you'd to budget nearly another £2k to get the problems it comes with fixed
The handbrake is foot operated by the far left foot pedal.
The handle on the right of the steering is for releasing the handbrake, not applying it.
