Success at last! I'm currently downloading Europe V16 and have managed 14% so far. At first I had a little fight with the software as it kept telling me that I didn't have write permission for the USB stick, seems to be okay now though

I've just completed updating the software and now have 2019 V13 installed, thanks for all of your help AMGJames.

Glad I stumbled on this thread...

Just updated my ntg4.7 from v11-2015 to the latest, v19. 2019/2020.

It took 1hr 20mins to load the maps from a USB3 stick (£7.59) from Argos

Cheapest and safest place is a MB service desk. £100.

If going to a dealer, it's best to arrive armed with knowledge re which is the latest version.

Dealers have been known for selling PIN for the previous version (not realising that a newer version has been released).

on the Garmin map Pilot (SD Card)..I frequently get new S/w and Only ONCE have I noticed a difference...
(thats not maps but the core Os/interface)
Is there a change log??
