Can you call the dealer and ask? Otherwise Halfords/ ECP online would probably give you the answer

You can cross check on sheet 231.0 and 231.1 the applicability of the spec to vehicles, but as far as I can see, spec 236.3 applies to the power steering systems in all passenger cars except S Class W220 and PowerPack A Class.

Wow, sorry my bad i just thought a forum would throw up some advise....never had a car that is so difficult to get answers for and in all fairness i have never nor ever will i trust the advice of a spotty 16-18 year old working in HALFUDS nor ECP, thought here would have helped.
I have always used dex 4 in my BMWs with no issues at all.
Yeah i did see the spec sheet for the merc c class 263.3 but it still does not say what the fluid specs are.

I am not sure what your problem with the reply from Erfan is?
They gave good advice and if in doubt then a dealer parts department would give you the definitive answer.
As to not trusting Halfords nor ECP , that is your choice but it was still potentially helpful advice as you could have asked both and cross referenced the answers?

guys was i being sarcastic..... Halfuds and ECP up here are useless even most of the dealers are the same, well up here anyway.
I had in fact called the dealer, Halfuds and ECP, the dealer wouldnt tell me, ECP hummed and hayed, and HALFUDS up my way are kids so am sorry if my response had upset anyone.
Usually a forum is a invaluable source of info for someone new to a particular brand of car, or someone looking for details and specs which cant easily be found, which is the case in this instance, BTW i wiped mee **** just moments before calling the dealer.........Actually is there a forum for **** wiping am sure there must be
I will bare in mind for next time that some people are easily offended and maybe take things the wrong way, and will leave a small reader warning just in case.....

Why did you not press the dealer harder for the correct info.? Thats not acceptable from them.

For Power steering oil , i only purchase from Mercedes Benz . Some say use ATF but it is not the same .

trust me i did, but like all of them up here and i have dealt with many of them, they are useless and wont give out any info.
I remember asking one for the part number of a part so i could compare prices etc and they point blank refused, i do understand to a point but when you have spent tens of thousands in cash not finance it feel its pretty disgusting.
The two i really hate dealing with are Arnold Clark and the worst of all Peter Vardy who really are piss takers they are clueless fitters/non mechs, they really dont have a clue. Its a shame the merc dealer up here is clarkies.
