White specks on comand screen

Hi all.
I have only just noticed some white specks on the screen of my comand aps. I've tried to clear them with a soft cloth to no avail. I know that lcd tv sets suffer from these white spots and I was wondering whether this was the same problem and if so, is there a remedy? Can the lcd screen be changed separately on the comand system. I mean without having to change the whole unit. Any ideas will be most welcomed. I believe they call them pixels!

Hi Ted,

A dead pixel is just that unfortunately. It can't be resurrected.

You might find someone who's willing to do a screen swap for you, but I doubt it would be cheap. Best to talk to someone from comandonline.co.uk if it bothers you, but I would guess the cost of fixing it outweighs the benefit.
