Who needs an E55 when you can have an AMG E240....

No AMG kit and I don`t think there is suspention either

Hello

Looks very smart, not everyone wants a big engine. When that was new the E240 would have been a reasonable choice (petrol wasn't silly money)

I never saw the point when I had a Z3 with a big engine the fact they did one with a 1.8.

Then there's my mum and probably a lot like her, not bothered one jot how quick the car is, 0-60 top speed etc. Not interested. She goes off what looks nice.

That car looks as nice as a E55 so for people no interested in speed. Lovely (athough someones put the ring stickers on it :)

Hes just got his options wrong he must be reffering to the body shell modification option when you opt for AMG wheels from new which just means the arches are rolled from factory nothing else !

Apart from the wheels there is nothing else AMG about it what so ever although it does seem like a rather lovely Designo colour with xenons and heated seats also.

It's not AMG - it's OMG. Why that colour? Why that engine? Why?!

If you have the money and want a sporty car, go for a sporty engine. If you want a colour that goes with the car, go for a standard one

That is beautiful.

Didn't know you could get violane on a w210.

If only it was a V8.

^ (neilz) think its called choice, and that what options are for.

The original owner could have done this to a E200 had they wanted.

Choice.

Worth be nice at £1500

Not many in this colour

Does it look rust free ?

I like that colour - not one I've seen often...

I quite like that, very tidy and nice colour and hell its probably fast enough lol.

It is a standard colour on an Avantgarde...as above, my first one was Violane.

I think the colour suits it.

Quite like that actually - I'm sure the engine is fast enough to break all the UK speed limits..

Apart from the interior looks neat.

The original owner was probably the victim of some dreary accountant who insisted that all company cars must be under a certain price, or engine size or some other pile of ****e restriction, but still wanted a decent looking car.
