Jay,
Have you been able to find out anything about D&W?
Ive never really bothered to be honest. They did body kits for pretty much every 80's MB. Not sure how many sold.
There was a W123 for sale in germany with the same D&W kit recently..

I always wanted a Gilbern because they were built in my grandparents village.Who remembers Chameleon Cars then??
Not me.
Remember Gilbern though.
I remember a pal of mine getting an Invader many years ago , he never kept it long .I always wanted a Gilbern because they were built in my grandparents village.
That is, until I finally drove one. I ended up getting a R107 300SL instead, which was cheaper (wouldn't be today)!
Our local airfield have a six wheel Range Rover pickup which is used as a fire truckHi all, just picked up this message during lockdown!
I worked for Chameleon cars as a designer (graphics not cars) in the early 80s. The company was owned by Michael Lahav and operated out of 15 Reece Mews in South Kensington SW7.
Lahav was a hard boss and later was arrested for tax fraud.
His right-hand man was Graham Chalkley who set up Vantagefield Land Rover dealers - a lovely bloke who treated me to many a free lunch in that their London!
The first link attached is my original design for Chameleon Cars in 1982 (Mr Lahav insisted it looked liked the Cartier logo)!
The second link is to Graham Chalkley's Vantagefield Land Rover website.

Hi ozpools, I too worked at Chameleon at both Reece Mews and Park Lane in the early 80s! What a surreal but unforgettable experience. Caught up with Julian McNamara in Feb in Germany. We launched the Chameleon/ATM collab ’Enterprise’ at the Geneva Salon just before the move from Reece Mews, then Took it to Frankfurt. Have lost track of Michael but remember Graham. Do you recall the graphic designer Simon Addinsell?Hi all, just picked up this message during lockdown!

I’m sure we knew each other then. I was around for the logo development - it hit the chord for Mike and the clientele...Hi ozpools, I too worked at Chameleon at both Reece Mews and Park Lane in the early 80s!
