Whoops just stuffed the old girl up the back of a Transit

just had my w202 written of by insurance company today its sad really cos its a good little car whiched has served me well oh well life goes on

iit happend last dec bad icy road on way home wasnt going fast hit a patch of ice slid 1 side of the road up a low kerb hit a brand new 09 parked van they came to asses the damage to my car which was a crack in the front bumper waited 3 weeks only for them to tell me the the cost of the repair is dearer than the value of the car mike gutted cos i honestly thought it would get fixed

So if you see some monoblock wheels with falken 452, with tyres that look like they have only done 50 miles thats because thats all they have done

Yep - as Adam says, buy it back for salvage - I'd be surprised if they'd want much more than a few hundred quid.

Sell the AMG wheels and tyres for circa £500 depending on condition (less if they need a refurb, more if they've just been done).

Plenty of good spares there - well worthwhile.

Perhaps look at trading up to an E55 - they're absolute bargains at the moment, even facelift ones with half sensible miles have been going for as little as £5-6ish.
