My wife had a 450 slc mid late 80s for about 5 years 4 times to the south of france as I remember. Lovely cars to drive and strong V8 engines. As most people say, rust is the main thing to look out for. Having seen it ,it looks great and i love the 80s retro interior combo....suits it well. Rather tempted myself. On the other subject, I bought Raymond Blancs 211 E500 avantgard with amg kit. I had it for 6 years (great, great car) but could never get the small gravy stain out of the front footwell....sorry I mean "jus"
