Wow... BP ultimate keeps things clean

I didn't totally believe the hype of it's cleaning ability.
Watch this video, they re-engineered an Audi A8 V8 engine to concurrently run with normal unleaded in half it's cylinders and the other half with BP ultimate

They then stick a camera down into each side of the engine - judge for yourself...

I knew it was cleaner but I didn't think it was to such an extent. I have always used ultimate anyway because it gives slightly better response and I get a better mpg with it. But the thing is... do you really believe the fuel in those tanks is untampered and as it would be from the pumps....

Why are the boot and fuel lines so heavily insulated? Cynics might suggest use of chilled fuel to get better mpg/performance results.

I saw that at Goodwood last year. Was talking to the BP representative who was with the car, seemed quite cagey when you asked questions about the trial/demo.

Like any of these things, one is sceptical as to how fair the trial really is when it's been commissioned by the party who are looking for the specific outcome.
