Now that I seen the Video, I only have one Question!
Why was the Merc Driver heading for the Rear wheel or Undrneath the Trailer of a Stationary Artic?

Not going to be a popular view with the Daily Hate readership here who love a good hand wringing, bring back National Service, bring back Borstal, things were better in my day moan but IMO the driver is at least 50% at fault in this case. Lightly braking or even backing off on the accelerator would have allowed the kid to go through the gap & on his way, avoiding the entire incident.
He either wasn't paying attention & must have missed seeing all the other wheelie-ing cyclists as they went by or was looking for a confrontation.
Your reply had me confused for a long time, but then it dawned on me, you must have been the cyclist!
The lorry clearly WAS moving , then braked to a halt just before the idiot on the bike tried to move into the path of the car ( going by the antics of other idiots on bikes shown in the video it is quite likely that another of them did something in front of the lorry ) ; at the same time there is another idiot on bike alongside the Mercedes on its right , forcing him towards the left hand side of the lane ( again watch the video and he will be seen passing the car just after the videolante falls off his bike when he gets himself into the scrape ) .Now that I seen the Video, I only have one Question!

No : he was taking evasive action because of the idiot biker on his right , seen in the video just after first idiot falls off . They were acting as a gang to intimidate drivers , plenty of evidence in the footage . Moreover , the car was still going straight when the idiot drove under his wheels .The Merc driver drives into the LH lane to hit or block the cyclist. He did in fact hit him.
Stop the vid at 15 seconds & look. What was the driver doing there, practically under the lorry & well over the white line delineating the lanes, if he wasn't trying to block or hit the bike? Look at the vid again at 17 seconds & note the angle of the stopped Merc to the road lines. He AIMED for the kid.
Imagine instead of some inner city black yoof it's your son or daughter on their bike who has a Mercedes squeezing them under a lorry. Still the biker's fault?
Piss poor thinking. These idiots on bikes ( don't deserve to be called cyclists ) were acting together and all pulling similar stunts ; just a pity they hadn't gone properly under the wheels of one of the vehicles they were baiting .
Indeed he was , that's not the one I was referring to - perhaps you haven't seen the one in the blue top and grey shorts who is RIGHT ALONGSIDE the car just as the idiot is falling off ! At 13 sec in the video .Pontoneer,
The kid ahead of the struck kid, on the right in the white top, was WELL past the Merc before the driver moved to the L. The car driver did not move off his line at all when the white topped kid cycled past.
I'm sorry if the facts don't suit the narrative you'd like to draw here but the video clearly shows that what I'm saying is correct.

Wish I could pull a wheelie for that long.
Mine was a Sun Squadra.Great 100M+ wheelie fun on the SE Quadangle back in the day , but in safe places .
My “yoof” choice of bike was a Mongoose BMX which I could never get the hang of pulling long wheelies, much easier with a larger frame like a mountain bike.Did you never have a 5-speed drop handlebar with cowhorns fitted?
I could wheelie for miles, braking was a bit tricky as the cables wouldn't stretch to the grips so the brakes were a long way down the bars.
Yes.Sooner or later one of the tossers will go under a lorry. Am I the only one who will feel more sympathy for the poor beggar driving the lorry than for the tosser in hospital as a result?
No.Yes.
Or , with any luck , the mortuary, which just might be a wake up call for his comrades.Sooner or later one of the tossers will go under a lorry. Am I the only one who will feel more sympathy for the poor beggar driving the lorry than for the tosser in hospital as a result?
