Was it from Ford or was it sprayed by another party?

He owned the car (D811STM, listed as ‘grey’ on the government website) from new and I certainly don’t remember him having it repainted. On Ebay, there is currently one of the same colour for sale plus a black one and a red one (at £38k!), and there are some other red ones on Pistonheads. Seems unlikely that they’ve all been resprayed!

A D reg would’ve been the newer shape that came in a variety of colours.

I’m referring to the original RS which is what I had and which is what the ex-Princess Diana car is.

Hi Ford Anglia 105E

Lowered the car all-round and stuck 5.5 J wheels all round / Dunlop SP68 tyres.

Installed a 1500cc engine / Weber twin choke carb / 1600E gear box ( car was fast for 1970s ) but no idea what the top end was !
