Does anyone have any knowledge of what finance companies charge for administration of a change of numberplate on a car?
I bought the wife's Alfa MiTo a private plate; and she has been stung for £50 from FIAT finance to cover costs of their administration.
£50 sounds excessive. The insurance...
I saw some car bits advertised on ebay before Christmas and the seller was a commercial breaker. All the parts they were selling were advertised with a price which included VAT. Delivery was quoted as an extra price, again including VAT.
I entered into discussion about a part they were...

Whilst not a demanding job technically (else I could'nt do it :o ) I now can see why garages charge so much. The simple answer is pain. Your not paying for the expertise of the grease monkey with his shiny...

Does this still apply?
Cheers.
